I had 128k ISDN for about 10 years before I went to Hughes. I was located about 90 miles from the switchboard. The service entered on a single pair of copper. It had two spids and as such with the proper equipment you had two pots phone numbers. It worked quite well the only reason I switched is the cost went from $45 to $95 per month for the line plus $50 per month for the isp. YMMV
