Try using speakeasy.net's server its usually accurate, on a side note Iuse to have comcast and I never liked them so once FIOS hit my area I jumped ship but FIOS has its own share of problems as well but once there fixed the service is solid as a rock. and just to get you excited about FIOS heres my last speed test enjoy.

No Fios in the Savannah Ga area, only ATT DSL and Comcast.
