Happened to me

I currently use Comcast. I wanted to switch to DirecTV with AT&T DSL and when I went to sign up online for the service it couldn't find my address. So I guess, AT&T doesn't want my business? (Yes, it did work if I added a phone line too. Weird.) I could call the special number for naked DSL they give on the website. But if they want to dick around, I'll just stay with Comcast.

ATT just doesn't want your cheap@ss business. you deadbeat - trying to get a service without buying into their bundled crap.

ATT isn't interested in customers that know what the hell they are doing, they want the ignorant sheeple they can con into higher priced services.

when there is no real competition, ILECs don't have to service "difficult" customers.

you're probably a bandwidth hog anyway.

ps - I am a comcast customer also, but don't have any other choice; verizon apparently has no interest in serving an upper middle class area where people have disposable income to spend on hi speed broadband.

How do you get off calling him a bandwidth hog, and a deadbeat? WTF! he just states that he was trying to get their DSL service.
