You're going to wind up paying more for what you had before and getting less - and they know it. Further, eventually, dial up won't be available anymore. some law will ultimately render it obsolete and the FCC will restrict it back down to 9600 or 14.4 or something to make it used only for small credit card or fax machines..

People are going over board on the caps. Especially if they are under the limit. The rule always applies though don't like it take your business else where.
