I believe this would contribute to the "cap". Its data being transfered. Someone correct me if Im wrong here. Or would bandwith usage playing online games not be part of this "cap?

Packets are packets, whether they're games, voice, html, e-mail, or pr0n.

Yes online games would count. however, online games don't consume very much bandwidth at all.

Generally the clients are very light on bandwidth. I'm not so sure about hosting servers, however.

I bought half lie 2 awhile back and you had to basically download the entire game and connect evertime you play.
that was at least 4gigs ,then the ongoing and that's just one game.
they are going to kill legit usage
