Re: Need to switch between Interleave and FastPath? Part 2

So I noticed my speed went to crap recently. Decided to check my Trans stats and noticed I got bounced off Fast Path. Also noticed my down speed is lower. Before I attempt to fight with their support, are my stats still good?

Transceiver Revision A2pB020b3.d20h
Vendor ID Code 4D54
Line Mode ADSL_G.dmt
Data Path INTERLEAVED

Transceiver Information Down Stream Path Up Stream Path
DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec) 2112 832
Margin (dB) 23.0 10.0
Line Attenuation (dB) 29.0 18.0
Transmit Power (dBm) 18.2 11.9

The stats seem to be the same as what I had back in 2009 when I requested this, and again last August when there was a router going nuts in PA. But they might have changed their requirements.

I also noticed this line from Verizon's trans stats.
Max. Attainable Bit Rate [kb/s]: 8128 832
Would that mean I could get faster than my previous 3360?

My guess is you got "optimized" by the Verizon bot. Fast path doesn't increase speed it decreases ping; so if one is not a gamer it doesn't make much difference. The speed drop does though.
