 How to get the status of a pending order..

Anyone know how to get the status of a pending new order? I am waiting on a dry line dsl to be installed and just wanted to check and make sure everything was still on target. Going to the website states you must create an account to check the status. When I go to either create a new account or just add to my current login, I have to provide an online registration code or the pin number from my bill. Well, I haven't gotten a bill yet and the registration code doesn't work because it says either my zip of the last four of my social are wrong.

I have sat on hold to the toll free number for over 45 minutes multiple times and they have never answered. They are ALWAYS experiencing a HIGH call volume.

Any ideas on how to check this??
