AT&T's "Special" with dry dsl

My business in orange co. calif. has AT&T dsl and 1 phone line, $75 a month, 2800 down minimum features with phone.
I called AT&T about changing to dry dsl, after being transferred around for 1/2 hour or so I finally got someone who understood what I was talking about, she looked it up and offered me dry dsl as a special- $84 a month same speed.
I pointed out that I pay less for dsl with the phone as well-she told me that I had a very good plan and maybe I should stick with it!
My next call was to verizon about the same thing about 70 miles away. They quickly told me with no sales hype attitude they would install free naked dsl at 7500 down for only $54 a month with a 1- year contract, $44 for 3000 down.
Obviously AT&T is scared to death that they will loose their phone business offering dsl only, they should be, I have been testing 3 MagicJacks and Vonage. I am afraid I only want to pay $20 a year unlimited with MJ's which I had previously posted as perfect-not quite but I will take them for the price and I have installed an internet speed booster between the modem and router - Hawking Tech, which makes them work MUCH better. I have been on 3 computers with them all on calls plus downloading files and they now all work 24/7.

yep like i said up- they charge more for their dryline and factor in the cost of the landline into the DSL price just so they don't lose money.
