Aaaaand...Qwest still uses interleave practically everywhere (+45 ms latency on the first hop around here) and PROVISIONED (not actual) speeds top out at 5120/896 for a $47 a month dry line. They must be copper-fed or something; downloads are absolutely SMOKING to get up to 4.25 Mbps down, 700k up. Usually more like 3.5/600. However with ComCaps they could take over the market if they intro'd FTTN ADSL2+ here. |
