Hopefully it will correct the issue but it can only help even if it isn't the full resolution to your issue.  I would like to take a look at the line after you install the splitter. They never did but they did something to the phone line. I know because there was no dial tone for about a hour. It worked for a bit then it went back downhill, The cable length is fine, I have a new modem and I installed a new filter. I am going to install a new splitter tommorow. This is a continuation from my previous post in another topic. I was asked to start a new one which I happily did.]]></description>
