Hmmm oh really?

If this update supposedly needs to be updated on all iPhones to make everyone's phone work right than why has Apple stated there will be another update in Sept? Is AT&T trying to make up lies to try and ease customers on the currently problems with the iPhone? uh huh...

It's really difficult to say given the mutual finger-pointing between ATTM and Apple that has been going on behind the scenes, and also given Apple's general practice of being very vague in release-noting their updates.

I hadn't heard that another update is pushing out in Sept. What is that one intended to fix? Has Apple said?
