My IP address in socal.rr.com gives the following info using the ARIN whois site at »ws.arin.net/whois/

I know that, but most people don't do a Whois lookup on their address. Some tools mistakenly do that though.

Just looking at the second to last hop in his LQ report shows it's close to Reseda, CA.
