| If it smells like BS or sounds too sweet and good to be true
Personally I think that these advertisements are bullshit answers from un-prepared companies that were/are sitting down with there thumbs stuck up there ass.
As they say "chance favors the prepared" Verizon is prepared, and people are liking the fiber speeds. They've paid the piper so to say and are getting the fiber hung, burried, spread out. They are listening to their customers and bringing them what they want.
Now you have a bunch of other monkeys(Cable cos. etc) scramblin about to get something done. Whether its confusion from misleading adds.. or nothing at all really.
Personally if I were these cable cos, I would actually make an effort to compete and do good business. And that includes investing in my network infrastructure, bringing in fiber to the home(Even if on a small scale at first, some action is better than no action). Not this BS.. oh we have fiber.. kinda.. technically... somewhere in there attitude. That's bs that will get em no where. For the most part, people who use the internet are smarter than the average joe..(I would like to imagine anyways) and they will know hopefully there getting fed BS.
I'd gladly deal with Verizon's billing issues to get symmetrical speeds..
End of my humble .02 opinion.. |
