West New York, NJ | Verizon Avenue - Substandard service VZ Avenue is a sister company of Verizon and usually found in Condo complexes around the country.
In our community, we have three T1's coming into the complex according to the more friendly techs I have spoken to.
Unfortunately, QOS is not consistent and speed tests run here and other sites verifies downstream and upstream rates below what some techs have indicated is their "unofficial standards"
In addition, I have had techs try to gas light me that my speed is hampered because I have a 4-port hub coming off the Demark.
Overall the quality of service, quality of technical sophistication and overall customer service is 3 on a scale from 1-10
If you can avoid using this service, you will be better off. If you community has VZ Avenue you should complain that they are fostering anti-competitive practices |
