1 edit | reply to RobNyc I can be an FP if you have put Avira configuration Heuristic into high or paranoid mode. Try to use normal or low into Heuristic detection. I had this kind of problem once, and when submitting the file to avira, they did not found a "true virus" , just a pattern. |

| reply to RobNyc Is there a reason why you think that this is not a virus? I mean your anti-virus program is telling you that it is a virus so I would be inclined to think that is was a virus, yet you seem to want to ignore it so I'm just wondering what info you have that this is definitely not a virus? |

| reply to RobNyc submit the file and let the Avira fix it if FP »analysis.avira.com/samples/
in the meantime you can click ignore but you don't know for sure if the file is false positive

| reply to RobNyc I think you have figured out where your problem is...and I do not think it's a "problem" with Avira.

My stepdaughter clicked on a Myspace link last week and got "trojaned." Avast blocked it though and we deleted the Temp Internet Files, she stayed away from that link and has had no more problems.
Be careful and good luck... |

| reply to RobNyc The funny thing is. While I'm running this program called FriendBlaster Pro www.addnewfriends.com for myspace, it happens when I'm posting bulletins every hour. I use the program for other things but only happens when Bulletins are going every hour how I have them. |

| reply to RobNyc Yes, please post the full location of where it is. All we can see is the beginning. Is it in your temp internet cache? Then it would look like it is an ad or something. Possibly from x10?
It might be a nasty you are getting from x10.com or somehting via an ad or image placed on an otherwise benign website that you are going to. If so then possibly blocking the offending domain would stop you from getting it. At the very least it will tell you what site you are getting it from. |

| reply to RobNyc hmmm, if it keeps coming back then maybe you should run more tools, just in case it is something Avira can't fully deal with »Security Cleanup FAQ »Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance
does the warning appear only after you are on the net (particular site(s)?) or...?

| I keep getting this every hour or so. I don't know why or how.
I've ran Avira full system scan, spybot search & destroy, restarted the laptop etc.
What is the correct option to use anyways? Move to, delete, deny ? how can this action be automatic instead of bothering me? |
