Advertising Hype for FIOS will lead you to aggrevation

The speeds are great and the TV quality is also great - but when you have a problem with billing or tech support it will be a deal breaker for you as it was with me. They are the worst in history! You will waste countless hours with them on the phone and hoe and pray they resolve it the first time - but your hopes and prayer will go unanswered like a pagan!!! They treat you like a pagan also - or worse. They have a good marketing department and they make you think this will be a good change for you. If they had decent customer care, it would be awesome!!! But Verizon is plagued with the phone company mentality and they will never get it right!

Actually, to Verizon's credit, their technical support is still light-year's ahead of Time Warner Cable.

That's one of the reasons I left Road Runner back in 2003 and never looked back.

Btw, here's my review of Road Runner before I left their service behind: »/comment/43868

I also haven't had any trouble with Verizon billing once the initial snafu was taken care of.

I have had repeated problems with Time Warner cable, however, as they repeatedly switched my billing with another condo on my floor. It took several months to resolve the issue.
