Another downside to digital is it is "all or nothing" meaning when conditions are right it looks fabulous, have an iffy signal all you get is a black screen[no more snowy but watchable screen] all this so the damned cellphone companies can have more spectrum to rape and gouge with.
That's great considering all of the OTA analog channels my family currently gets are snowy. I guess whenever Canada switches, there's no more TV for people living in rural areas that don't want to subscribe to satellite.
