What would you need to know about VoIP that they would know above and beyond what is on the EL web site? They are just repeating what is published and may even get things wrong. That's another reason I avoid chat.

Regardless of the spam, Earthlink gives me the impression of being quite the hard sell company. I get zero "spam" email from Earthlink on all of my eight (8) email accounts. I've been opted-out since 2000 and I only receive my monthly invoice and the rare administration message.
