anon : For the poster asking about when to see who last used MSN, there are 2 ways.

1. The easy way is to open internet explorer and look in the history. Your msn history is there too. Usually by looking at the websites on that list, you can tell who was using msn.

2. For a more detailed report, you can recieve an Online Activity Report. To enable the report, log in as the admin msn account (usually the primary account).

On the navigation bar (The row of buttons, such as Home and Favorites, at the top of the screen, below the menu bar and above the address bar.) , click Safety, point to Parental Controls, and then click Set Parental Controls.
>
Set parental controls for the child, if you haven't already.

In the Change parental controls for a member account section, click the name of the person that you want to set parental controls for. If the section isn't available, follow the on-screen instructions to add a member account.
Select an age group, and then click Accept.

Under Change parental controls for a member account, click the child's name. Under Supervision, click Online activity report, and then click On. Click Save Changes.

If your child signs in to MSN on more than one computer, you may receive an online activity report from each computer.
