AT&T Motorola High Speed DSL Modem Model #2210-02-1006

I bought a new-in-box AT&T Motorola High Speed DSL Modem Model #2210-02-1006 last night via the internet.

If anyone owns this modem I would appreciate you leaving a post of your experience with how good or bad it has been for you.

Thanks in advance.

  My modem is a 2210-02. I don't know about the 1006 part.

It is giving me excellent service. Much better than my last modem, a Westell 6100. Even better than my much loved Caymans that I used for years before that (several 3220's and a 3546).

When I first received the Motorola, it was so light and flimsy looking that I didn't even bother hooking it up for a couple of months. When I finally got so upset with the Westell and tried it, boy was I pleasantly surprised.

I've only had mine for about a week, but seems to be working fine. After the power failure last night, due to the hurricane I think it got hosed up.

But I only had to turn off the computer, unplug the wires on the back of the modem and plug them back in and things were back to normal.

I've had mine since June and it's worked flawlessly. I have it running in the bridged mode in front of my Clark Connect firewall. So far I am pleased.
