[Home Network] Motorolla 2210-02-1006

I have a Motorola 2210-02-1006 Modem, and a Motorola WR850G Router.

The setup is like this:

PublicIP2210192.168.1.254-----192.168.1.1WR8560G192.168.10.1----192.168.10.3PC
Thanks to zx10guy

I cannot seem to forward port 6112 through both of the devices.

I've set up Bridge Mode on the Modem, but then i cannot connect to the internet, not even if i directly hook up the modem to my PC. (just the 'Ethernet' and 'DSL' lights blink)

Thank you for your time.

Fixed!

Another forum has fixed my problem, but if anyone else has this issue, here is the fix:

Go into 192.168.1.254 (the 2210 Modem)
Click on Local Network
Click On configure (?)Connections(?)
Select Bridged mode.

Now, in Routers page 192.168.x.x
Change the connection to PPPoE, and don't forget to type in your Username, Password.

Done.

»AT&T Southeast Forum FAQ » How do I setup a Motorola 2210 modem with a generic third-party router?

We have several FAQs for configuring different brand aftermarket routers with the Motorola Netopia 2210-02-1006 modem, but we don't have one that is specific for your model Motorola router.

We have a catch-all generic FAQ that gives you the general ideas of how to configure your 2210-02-1006 for "Bridged Ethernet" mode and an aftermarket router for "PPPoE" mode.

Glad you got everything up and running.
