dissapointed

@direcpc.com

I would gladly take that offer if at&t would get off their butt and offer me dsl.IM still unable to get dsl in 2008.I live 5 miles out of town with dsl stopping 1700 feet from me.This is totally unacceptable IM about to get verizon wireless broadband and forget at&t,and also cut off my unused home phone.I have waited long enough for real broadband...sorry had to vent

You live 5 miles out of town and you wonder why you cannot get DSL or cable?
Got neighbors?

as I said they need to quit worrying about pushing more speed where they already have it,and get off their ass and extend their service to people that don't have it.IM 5 miles from downtown 2 1/2 miles from their dslam it stops 1700 feet from me.I can see where it ends out my window

I have to agree with you there. One way for them to tap into new customers is by providing DSL to their entire foot print but that would mean building infrastructure.

look when i moved where i live was in 1988.there was no internet.have any of you tried to sell a house lately,my house has been up for sale for 2 years with no luck

nobody wants to buy a house without internet,cell,or cable service,so moving is out of the question until i sell my house.It is easy for you all to say just move try to put your house up for sale and sell it without giving it away it wont happen with the economy the way it is

so yea you all better count your blessings to be able to get decent internet,and quit rubbing it in to us less fortunate that you cant use your 3 meg connection its to slow give me a break

i have called at&t numerous times,and they kept telling me to be patient.that was 2 years ago.like i said i have lived here since 1988 when there was no internet.

my house has been for sale for 2 years with no luck.I have neighbors 300 feet from me om both sides, and houses all the way to town IM 2 1/2 miles from the city limit sign.I can say they don't care because they don't,all they care about is adding more speed to already serviced areas.

I called charter cable numerous times too they said they were not adding new customers.she said that subdivisions had to get together and pay for the lines.They want 10,000 dollars to extend to me.its hard to get everybody to go in on it when half of then already have charter,and at&t dsl
