Get real. It was most likely a frustrated customer that made threats and that is it. I doubt a tech would make a false police report just to avoid fixing a problem.

Of course, all techs are wonderful, competent fellows and ladies... even the ones who go around killing and otherwise attacking customers and their property (Comcast anyone?). I doubt everything.
