<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/545429"><b>auggy</b></A> : If you have used System Restore to revert to a restore point prior to installing IE8 Beta then that should have removed IE8 and any associated registry changes.<br><br>Did the  "Run this program as an Administrator" help any?<br><br>Also, have you considered uninstalling and reinstalling the program having the problem?]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1448499"><b>OldAuditor</b></A> : Yesterday I installed IE 8 Beta.  It gave me all sorts of problems through DEP.  I uninstalled it.<br><br>Now I have a program that will not run with UAC turned on.  It will run with UAC off.<br><br>The system event message is:<br>"Faulting application w07tax.exe, version 28.0.0.0, time stamp 0x2a425e19, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a76d, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x000bf285, process id 0x199c, application start time 0x01c90de59e3025dd."<br><br>Edit:  With UAC off, it starts fine.  With UAC on, it will not even get to the "Do you want to run this program" notification.<br><br>Any ideas?
