Broadweave got a sweetheart deal here. A former member of the city's telcom board brought in his investment firm to finalize the purchase, a member of Broadweave's board was the direct ecclesiastical leader for both the mayor and chair of the city council and the negotiations happened behind closed doors with minimal time for the city council to review the terms of the sale. There's something rotten in the state of Utah and it's the sale of iProvo to Broadweave, a company that few expect to succeed where the city failed. |
