I've never had problems around campus with my wifi.... What issues are you having? The dropping every so often that was around in 10.5.0and .1? Guess you didn't notice, we're on .4 now and 99% of the wifi problems have been cleared up.

In case you have not noticed- Apple has decided to trade their loyal fan club for some quick corp. profits. I have stopped with Leopard-sick to death of annoying stupid things going wrong, I will take Vista any day.

I think its safe to say that there isn't one person with an iPhone who isn't experiencing some type of issue. Whether it be apps crashing, the phone restarting, no 3G signal, etc.

I used to like Apple products but in the last 2 years the endless parade of unreliable/lemons products and insulting software/updates and practically a blind eye to security holes in many of their products has taken my "trust" to zero!
To those who turn a blind eye to all of this all I can say is good luck with your bank information, good luck using all the cool apps, and good luck trying to make a call.

I'm not having any problems with mine. I did have the keyboard lag, but that seemed to go away after the last updates. I've never had an app crash on me or the phone restart, and no issues with 3G reception. Most places around town I have a full 3G signal, with the exception of in my office which is partially underground and cell phone reception sucks in general in "the dungeon". I've had several different 3G phones with AT&T, and the iPhone 3G is the first 3G phone I've used that hasn't dropped any calls. All the other 3G phones I've used had dropped calls left and right.

I read something awhile ago about how QC at Chinese and Taiwanese factories has been deteriorating rapidly - not just Apple, IOW. And, as more of factories shut down due to tremendous economic stress from all factors of production, I don't see anything improving because it's not as if you can put the bullet back in the gun and start building the products here again. Which, when you think about it, would be the best thing for everyone. But the prices would go up in the short term, for sure, and I don't think China would be so eager to buy our debt in order to finance our own manufacturing. We screwed our own pooch so hard its ass is ragged :huh:

I still have the problem where the phone will attempt to make a call, and then immediately (literally immediately) say call failed. This happens about 5 times in a row, and then the phone makes the call.

I also have problems where it says I have internet and good signal, but I cannot get anywhere on the web or make any calls.

Though, I had the exact same problem in the same location with my old RAZR, so I am going to tentatively blame it on AT&T.
