<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/156437"><b>dave</b></A> : As far as I can remember, it's the same way you've always done it for the NT family - boot the setup CD ('cept now it's a DVD) and choose formatting at the appropriate time.<br><br>What specific difficulties are you having?<br><br>Note, I always do a 'custom' install so it's possible you're not seeing the option.<br><br>Note also, what you format is a disk partition, not an operating system.]]></description>

And as for the Restore CD Rom, if it is a OEM machine, you have to create them, and usually it ends up being min. 3 DVD single layer discs.]]></description>
