anyone hear anything about some of the 5g rumors coming out of china or is that the same thing we are using now but just named differently? I cant remember if its 4 or 5g but i think its 4

China doesn't even have 3G deployed, except for a few test networks... China Mobile, the largest carrier in China (and the largest worldwide, followed by Vodafone), is planning on using the TD-SCDMA (Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) technology, which was developed in China and isn't used anywhere else, is that what you're talking about?
