Steps taken before calling: Reset modem factory default settings. Still didn't work.

Called Greg, setup the modem to Routed PPPoE with Username/Password. Set VPI/VCI to 0.35 (it was on 8.3 something before and it didn't work). Went back to Vista machine, still no internet. Checked IPv4/6 protocols and DHCP was enabled. Tried pinging google.ca and ipconfig release / renew... still no hope. Then disabled / enabled LAN and it worked!

Tried to create a Broadband PPPoE connection with the correct credentials and it says that the wizard cannot create a connection. Legit / bought copy of Vista as well.

Tried the same PPPoE / connection wizard on my laptop and it works! Obviously a software problem but I really need my vista desktop going on the net here for school.
