| Serious DVR problem!
Scheduled my evening (6:00p) news to record daily, but it misses some days. I looked ahead at the scheduled events, and found some days where it wasnt recording. I looked for conflicts, and there were none. I deleted the series recording, and re-added it, but is still missing episodes. Ive messed with all the settings, but it still wont pick up certain days. I think its happening with other programming too.
Also, Im having the same problem in reverse! This is happening on many (but not all) programs, but heres an example...Ive got "Two and a half men" scheduled for "First run only", but it records reruns. I know they are, because it says the original broadcast date, which clearly indicates a rerun (plus I know it is, because Ive seen it before).
Anybody know whats going on? If there is not a fix for this, its a deal breaker for me. I left my cable company with my own TiVo box because of pricing and limited HD programming, but if I cant count on the U Verse DVR to get ALL first run programming, Im going back.
My wife and I have a club meeting on Thursday nights...her head would explode if we came home, and "The Office" didnt record.
