 | Richard,
You are at a disadvantage having used a debit card instead of a credit card. With Credit Cards, your purchased are protected from fraud. I had over $1,200 of fraudulent charges reversed from Joiphone, and since they had no legal justification for the charges, the reversal was upheld.
Most banks do allow for a debit fraud dispute process. joiphone committed fraud by charging you more than you agreed to pay without providing any additional service. You should be able to open a dispute, send in your proof of the agreed upon terms, then it is on joiphone to respond to the bank proving they were justified in charging you. If they cannot justify it, your dispute will be upheld and you will get your money back. It may take a while before you actually see the money vs the credit card process where you get it instantly, but it should work.
You can also print your emails from billing to submit as supporting documentation for the dispute. If they admitted to a billing error in writing but have not fixed it, that could speed up the case.
