I'm not sure whether browsers report this as TCP_ERROR.

I had my friend from his home to try to connect to my web server. He got the "network error (TCP_ERROR)..." message. I had him FTP to my box, it worked. Besides I don't see anything being logged by 327w logs when my friend got the error message. Trying to connect from inside your network won't do it, because the modem (and most low cost home routers) doesn't handle the necessary loopback.

I have been spending weeks trying to setup port forwading/NAT/DMZ to get to my webserver running XP on the private LAN. FTP works fine. The port I use is 8980 or any other number except 80. None of them work. I got the "Network error (TCP_Error), web server maybe too busy..." message . Can anyone shed some lights ?
