Yes that phone wiring will be enough.
Is there a phone jack in the room where the dsl modem will be?

Indy		 If the inside wiring is ok just connect the modem and wait for its dsl light to be steady green.

You have Vonage for telephone service.... is it setup such that you can use all the phone jacks in the house to make and answer calls?

Pearl River, LA		 My Vonage modem is hooked up to my Belkin Router just like my desk top PC. From my Vonage modem telephone port, I have a telephone line going to the base unit of my uniden. All the other hand units hubs just plug in the wall electical outlets.

That good that you are not using the homes telephone wiring to get dialtone to all hand sets.

One other thing you should check out is the nid and its wiring and test jacks.
