That flash has not made it to my garage. MoCA(coax) is the preferred data connection on residential installs, but we have the discretion to change to ethernet. As mentioned by others, the data port can be changed by calling into Verizon. On behalf of the installer, he may have been misled or misunderstood a directive given by management. I hope that is all it was.

it's all installed and everything is setup, he became friendly again towards the end of the install
