California | i posted the original note about the upgrade, and now knowing that only half of the Bay is being upgraded at one time, I must ask this: How much capacity does a guide (and firmware?) update take?
Can't the upgrade all be done at once (market by market), as no one can use their TV's/DVR's while they (the cable boxes) are being upgraded? |

We got the guide update in Solano County today. More importantly, the Moto DCH3416 DVR's firmware was updated and the red recording lights finally work. |

One glitch: Both of my Motorola boxes (DCH3416 and DCT700) got the Guide update but my Pace SD-DVR has yet to get it, even after a power recycle. |

We got it here also(Romeoville IL head end). Noticed it Thursday night. Box seem a little more responsive.

Just got the new guide in south San Jose. Best new feature is that it will clip the beginning of the next show if there is a short overlap. |

Received update last night. Checked the Red record light on my DCH3416, it works. Had to power cycle my DCT700 to get it running.
