As an administrator, they were able to log in and change 1 setting in my Outlook settings. The problem was all email was going to a personal inbox on my laptop. The fix allowed me to have a choice of personal folders only OR an Outllook In box AND personal folders. <br><br>Never noticed any difference as I still had an inbox]]></description>

If connecting through POP/SMTP, the settings under the account Advanced tab, will allow for change to/from keeping on the server.<br><br>More info is available at &raquo;<A HREF="http://www.slipstick.com" >www.slipstick.com</A>, and making the changes unless locked down by corp. should be able to be done.  Personally if the OP is using a corp. laptop, I would stick with the Outlook Web Access while roaming, and only use Outlook when in the office.]]></description>

The web based email is MS Office Outlook Web Access.<br><br>My email server has not changed.<br><br>I send and receive emails from my laptop using Outlook just fine. The problem that Corporate IT cannot figure out is why my emails do not appear in Outlook Web Access. <br><br>I'll throw another variable into this, I also have Outlook on a computer here at home and can VPN into the company. It also shows no email in my In Box.<br><br>I keep coming back to some setting in Outlook as it worked with my previous laptop.]]></description>

The company I work for is fairly large and we are issued laptops (WinXP). Until recently the laptop I had been using was working fine. I get company email thru Outlook. We also have the ability to use the web mail from non company computers. <br><br>A few weeks ago I was having problems with my laptop so they replaced it. My stuff was moved to the new laptop and my mail account was established. I get email fine thru outlook. Whats happened is I no longer get any email thru the web mail access.<br><br>I've spent hours on the phone with tech support and they can see the problem (I give them my log in and let them access my web mail), but they seem to be lost. I have to work with the local IT people and honestly, they're just up to the job. Anyone have any ideas??]]></description>
