Merger!

I see a Rhapsody sucking them up. If that really happened, I'd find it incredibly funny considering that I started out with Rhapsody and left for Napster since they didn't have the music I wanted.

History is repeating itself for me.

Napster is still alive??? JK.. Still, theres Itunes and many other services out there to use. I'm amazed Napster has managed to hang on this long.

I think Napster's draw is their subscription model. Download all you want for a low monthly fee.

And when you quit paying, all your downloads quit working.

Some people don't mind that because they can listen to whatever they want on the service still while paying.

Surprised me too. I haven't used it (and good old Napigator) since the original version was killed off by RIAA.

Yep. I use to have a Yahoo Music subscription. I'd rather pay $5 a month to access MILLIONS of songs than only be able to buy 5 songs with the same amount of money.

Same. I mean why buy music that you dont "own" once your subscription ends.

Not if you record them to your harddrive.
