TiVo may have come up with a good idea once, but now their massive patent library is preventing anyone else from innovating in the field, since there's a good chance they'll inadvertently step on TiVo's toes in doing anything. |

| TIVO did not come up with the idea to record tv with a computer.
Computer users of the 80s and 90s did.
Also we were recording TV way before TIVO ripped off everyone elses ideas using VCRs and other devices. Whoever gave them a patent is an asshole.
