I think Napster's draw is their subscription model. Download all you want for a low monthly fee.
And when you quit paying, all your downloads quit working.
Some people don't mind that because they can listen to whatever they want on the service still while paying.

Yep. I use to have a Yahoo Music subscription. I'd rather pay $5 a month to access MILLIONS of songs than only be able to buy 5 songs with the same amount of money.
