1 edit | Methodology kind of mysterious I looked at the charts for the Mid-Atlantic & the Northeast regions where I make almost all my calls. In each region T-Mobile beat or tied Verizon in every subcategory, but LOST the Overall rating to Verizon for Overall Service. These results bring in to question the validity &/Or the methodology used in these surveys.

While I do think that Verizon is pretty good where we are (we have AT&T), I've always questioned the results of any J.D. Power survey simply because the facts usually do not jive with the results.
But I think this is the first time I have seen their own test data contradict the results of the study. -- "At the moment of conception." |

3 edits | JD POWER didn't list a "Call Quality" subcategory for Service ratings from above. Maybe that was implied or included in the overall category.
Here are links to their "Call Quality" only ratings where Verizon is the best: »www.jdpower.com/telecom/ratings/···atlantic »www.jdpower.com/telecom/ratings/···ortheast |

If the study was primarily focused on call quality, then it seems pretty easy to see why Verizon won for those two regions, despite lower ratings in other categories. |

 | reply to fAcEtIOUs I worked in the wireless industry a few years back. Even at that time, the way that the results were collected was suspect. They email surveys to X(20,000) number of people and then base the result off of the response. The sample is far too small to be statistically useful. |
