Re: [VoiceStick] Setting Outbound Caller ID

The new switch is working on MyGlobalTalk right now. It is flawless

The calls connect faster, and we are not seeing any digit drops!!!

They replied to me in a ticket I had opened with them. They said when their new equipment is in place, they will have the ability to pass through whatever caller ID is set on my Asterisk side. That will be a great feature.

thanks!

Hi,
BruceN recommended I post in the forums to see if anyone had this working.

I am trying to set my outbound caller ID on my Voicestick trunk from my Asterisk box. I have done this with other providers (some) by entering the caller ID information in either the trunk settings or the extension settings. So far I haven't been able to get this working on VoiceStick. Does anyone have outgoing caller ID working from their Asterisk box, where you can set it to a different number from the DID VoiceStick may have assigned? Thanks for any help!
