That being the case...one of two things. If there is a re-set button on that unit, try it, and see if you get a refresh, allowing you to access it...or...it is "broke", return it for another one or a refund.

From the User's Guide:

"Note:You must insert the Linksys wireless PC card in the PC card slot on the back of the Gateway before you can use the wireless features."

It is "wireless-ready", but that does require their wireless PC card for the gateway.

No offense, btw, but you called Tech Support after all...so you did seek to access tech support, for which, unfortunately, you are out of warranty. This is not in contravention with their stated policy.

If you do not have the user's guide for some reason, it is easily accessible at Linksys' web site.

But when I got ready to configure the gateway useing the 192.168.1.1 address, I could not enter the site. I called their support (which is now in the Phillipines) I was told that this product was out of warranty. But I could extend the warranty and there by get tech support( $29.99 for 24 hrs. or 39.99 for 6 months)Then I would be able to enter the server and configure the router. I dont want tech support I just want to configure my gateway. Any work around? I am willing to do major surgery.
