Dialup here still

1.5 miles from cable and DSL. 3 miles from town.
52k dialup here & Wildblue Sattilite. Neither are anything to write home to anyone about.

the costs of having a connection here I'd gladly pay more for a contracted time with DSL or Cable, to rid myself of Sat and dialup.
