| DSL better price for me. I already have POTs so adding DSL for $25 a month (3mb/512) was worth it for me. I could go to Comcast and get 6mb for $61 a month (Because I have DISH). But for me 3mb DSL is fast enough for what I do. And I enjoy the $36 a month savings. -- "The American Indians found out what happens when you don't control immigration." |

| My personal experience seems consistent with the article. I'd have liked to stay with DSL, AT&T couldn't provide sufficient speed, cable could.
I'd also mention, that my $20 a month AT&T DSL Express service turned out to be $45 a month by the time AT&T DSL was terminated. This was accomplished by AT&T eliminating discounts to my DSL over time. I noticed my last bill that AT&T DSL was $40, then terminated DSL, AT&T billed me an extra month at $45 (which they did correct). However, I'd advise anyone to check their AT&T bill carefully to make certain the price for DSL is correct.
Low speed and billing games make me not want to think about ever migrating back to AT&T DSL. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |

AT&T was happy to charge me $40 then $45 for my $20 tier. The increases occurred over time, and were done as reductions to their discount. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |

AT&T charges on my last bill charged $49.95 for DSL Express (the 1.5mb down / 384kb up service). A discount of $5 was applied. My net bill for DSL Express from AT&T last month was $44.95 which I rounded to $45. -- "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." |
