| [General] Future Nine & PayPal screen - nothing shows
Set up an acct on Future Nine & got login info.
I'll admit, never used PayPal, but when I go thru the add $ screens, nothing ever appears to enter a Paypal acct (don't have an acct) or take you to the PP site. When hit "continue, or confirm", get error, "could not process."
Again, nothing shows on screen, OTHER than the initial $ amt to choose. After that, no data fields - nothing. I read PP also allows "one time" pmts, where you /they don't store CC info w/ them. So, not sure what I'm doing wrong, or what I need to be doing.
Also having consistent probs sending contact email to FN from w/in my acct. Just gives errors - "not sent."
Thanks. |

| reply to canyouhearmenow For Future Nine anyway, is the only way to use PP to already have a PP acct set up, w/ your CC info on file (assuming use CC)?
You said it works up until where need to login into paypal acct. I'm assuming there are boxes showing up for you to enter the data? Nothing shows for me other than the "confirm order" button. Click that & nothing else appears. |

| Please login to your account at: »https://www.future-nine.com/A2BCustomer_UI/
Right after you login, right above the PayPal Logo, there is a scroll-down box and a blue button that reads "Buy Now Google Checkout". Please choose the amount of credit you'd like to purchase from the scroll-down box, and click the "Buy Now" button.
This will take you to Google Checkout, which is easier to work with than PayPal, in my opinion. -- Nitzan Kon, CEO Future Nine Corporation |

| reply to canyouhearmenow Yes, the Google check out seems to work - didn't follow it thru. Not a fan of Google - period.
Back to orig question, (assuming the PP screens were working on FN), do you already need a PP acct set up and (normally) enter your PP acct # on FN site?
If can't get PP working & can't take direct CC pmts, may have to keep looking for a provider. |

Back to orig question, (assuming the PP screens were working on FN), do you already need a PP acct set up and (normally) enter your PP acct # on FN site? It looks like you can make a Paypal payment just by using your credit card and billing info. Just ignore the "Already have a Paypal account?" login box on the right.
The order goes something like: click on Buy Now underneath the Paypal logo Click on Continue button "Continue Checkout Procedure" Select payment amount and click on continue again Click on confirm order Then you are taken to Paypal's website Enter your billing info on the left and click on continue to review order
I much, much, much prefer Google Checkout over Paypal, but to each his/her own. |

Soitgoes2: Thanks for detailed info. My prob is (using FF 3), I'm not seeing ANYTHING after click on "confirm order". IOW, doesn't bring up screen to enter acct #, or take me to PP site.
I disabled "block popups" in FF. Didn't try disabling my FW (KIS), but don't have it set to block popups.
Suppose I could try it w/ (shudder) IE, unless someone has suggestion of FF settings to check. Normally have no probs w/ sites.
I much, much, much prefer Google Checkout over Paypal, but to each his/her own. Never used either one, so I'd appreciate thoughts on this. Guess I'm a little concerned (maybe unjustified) about Google, given their well documented infamous privacy practices w/ search engine & Gmail. |

@swbell.net | reply to canyouhearmenow Thanks. For those interested, many CC card co's offer setting up "virtual CC #'s" that you enter on a mechant's site(or assume paypal/google). Regardless, none ever sees your real CC #. |

| One of the main purposes of PayPal and Google Checkout is to hide your credit card number from the merchant. The idea is that instead of letting some stranger company have your card info and do whatever they want with it - YOU choose when to initiate payments - not the company.
In other words - using a virtual CC on top of PayPal is redundant. I'm pretty sure PayPal and Google Checkout are required to keep the same security a bank would with your financial info. I've never heard of a security failure with neither. -- Nitzan Kon, CEO Future Nine Corporation |
