Rebekah update...

rfhar : She started school yesterday, half day. The idea was to let her walk between all her classrooms to see how she would handle doing so. Today she is back in school for a full day but with her wheelchair. It seems that her classrooms are located from one end of the building to the opposite end which is just too much for her. She can hang her book bag on the arm of the wheelchair and this is a big help also.

We had not heard of a heart for her, but we learned that there have been a few that have been available but none were quite right for her and the family was not told so as not to get their hopes up. I was hoping that the doctors had decided that she could cope with hers until she grew a little.

I wish I could post a current picture. She has inherited curly hair from grampa and it looks like she has had a trip to the beauty parlor. You gals would be jealous.
--
Whoever said that ignorance is bliss wasn't refering to a person with a computer at his fingertips!

Cure Disease with your computer
