| [Internet] Attempting to get standardDSL at my location (Story i Good day,
We have a private leased copper line to the CO, which provides us with a 1Mb DSL link. Unfortunately, this is not only very expensive, but our needs (20+ Computers) are now exceeding the capability of the line. I've talked to people at Bell, and unfortunately, they really don't have much of a clue as to what I'm talking about.
Less than a Km away, there is a remote DSLAM in a subdivision that went in after we established just down the road from them. Our current copper lines run down past this point, around, up the highway, and to the CO, exceeding the limit for ADSL connections.
Does anyone know if it's possible to either lease a copper line to the remote DSLAM so that we can get DSL from a regular ISP, or if there is any way to have Bell move our lines to the remote CO? We unfortunately are not able to get wireless here, as we are behind several large hills.
