You're talking about a moving target though. Comcast's middle of the road offering (the one they advertise on TV, print, etc.) has been in the $40-45 range for as long as I can remember around here, and I've seen similar price points in many other US markets. |

| reply to jester121 When 3/256 was the highest, it was $60 mo, and 1.5/256 was like $50 or so. Then when they went to 6/768 as the highest, they priced it at $60 and moved the 3/256 down to the $50. (Prices are a guess, I cant remember what the exact cost was 5yrs ago)
Though you do have a point, when we signed up for service after we moved, the 8/1 is ~$70mo where as the 6/768 is ~$60mo, and when I lived in Panama City, the 6/768 was ~$60mo. I was just hoping they would continue the previous trend of replacing the previous highest speed with the new highest speed at the same price point. -- Im Your Boogeyman, Thats What I Am |
