Anyone else in the Boston area getting static while talking on CDV?

Static is an electrical problem, not a network problem. Check your jacks, wiring, and phones.

Please describe exactly what you are perceiving as "static". I find that the use of this term can be very subjective.

 try a corded phone directly to the emta and check the call quality. if no longer a problem, probably an inside wiring deal. if still a problem or that's your current setup, how do those signals look?
