[KS] No powerboost upload

TheNerdGirl : When Cox first implemented faster speeds in my area on July 15, 2008, I got upload and download powerboost at 18-32+ Mb down and 2-4Mb up. At peak time, I got 25Mb down and 1-2Mb up. On Saturday, July 19, 2008, COX did upgrades in my area and I lost powerboost UL for good but I'm getting DL powerboost no matter what time of the day it is. I called TS and they didn't understand anything about UL powerboost but had a tech came out and he said things are working fine and there was nothing he could do. So I went online and chat with a tech, but he wasn't much help besides resetting my modem and still no powerboost UL. I got Cox Telephone a week ago and still no powerboost UL on an Arris TM402P. I got a three month old Windows Vista laptop (wireless), a Dell Dim5150 desktop (wired), and a Netgear WGR614 v7 wireless router.

Took the router out and plug the modem into the desktop or laptop for 15 minutes, still no powerboost UL, I'm getting the same upload speed I am showing you guys now. I PM'ed a tier 2 tech on here who contact someone in Wichita and the engineer call on the same day. He ask me what firewall and anti virus I was using. He was going to contact me back around 1 to 2 days but I haven't heard anything.

Here's one speed test on the wired connetion PC on Windows XP:

Last Result:
Download Speed: 26834 kbps (3354.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 854 kbps (106.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

I'm going to run a speed test from the wireless Windows Vista laptop:

Download Speed: 18057 kbps (2257.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 845 kbps (105.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Here's a tracert from the wired PC:

C:\Documents and Settings\Helen>tracert www.google.com

Tracing route to www.l.google.com [64.233.167.104]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 7 ms 8 ms 8 ms ip72-205-230-1.ks.ks.cox.net [72.205.230.1]
3 7 ms 8 ms 40 ms 70.183.70.81
4 13 ms 16 ms 13 ms 70.183.66.69
5 20 ms 24 ms 22 ms kscydsrj02-ae2.rd.ks.cox.net [70.183.71.105]
6 * * * Request timed out.
7 * * * Request timed out.
8 42 ms 38 ms 41 ms chgobbrj01-ge510.0.r2.ch.cox.net [68.1.2.162]
9 42 ms 39 ms 37 ms chgobbrj02-ae0.r2.ch.cox.net [68.1.0.223]
10 43 ms 40 ms 38 ms 74.125.48.241
11 109 ms 37 ms 41 ms 209.85.251.38
12 42 ms 39 ms 40 ms 66.249.94.134
13 51 ms 54 ms 53 ms 64.233.175.26
14 41 ms 41 ms 44 ms py-in-f104.google.com [64.233.167.104]

Trace complete.

Here's a tracert from the wireless laptop:

C:\Users\Helen>tracert www.google.com

Tracing route to www.l.google.com [64.233.169.103]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 11 ms 12 ms 11 ms ip72-205-230-1.ks.ks.cox.net [72.205.230.1]
3 7 ms 8 ms 11 ms 70.183.70.81
4 17 ms 15 ms 13 ms 70.183.66.69
5 22 ms 24 ms 23 ms kscydsrj02-ae2.rd.ks.cox.net [70.183.71.105]
6 * * * Request timed out.
7 * * * Request timed out.
8 39 ms 44 ms 48 ms chgobbrj01-ge510.0.r2.ch.cox.net [68.1.2.162]
9 38 ms 38 ms 39 ms chgobbrj02-ae0.r2.ch.cox.net [68.1.0.223]
10 40 ms 43 ms 42 ms 74.125.48.241
11 43 ms 38 ms 39 ms 209.85.251.38
12 80 ms 82 ms 79 ms 209.85.242.209
13 65 ms 65 ms 62 ms 72.14.236.200
14 68 ms 66 ms 64 ms 216.239.49.145
15 64 ms 66 ms 62 ms yo-in-f103.google.com [64.233.169.103]

Trace complete.

The two hops at 6 and 7 always time out like that during peak time period.

Here are the signal levels:

RF Parameters
Downstream
Freq/Power: 651.000 MHz 3 dBmV
Signal to Noise Ratio: 38 dB
Modulation: QAM256

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upstream
Freq/Power: 37.500 MHz 43 dBmV
Channel Type: DOCSIS 1.x (TDMA)

Symbol Rate: 2560 kSym/sec

Modulation: QAM16

I'm sorry it's too long but I am frustrated dealing with tech support over the phone.
